I am fully committed to athletics, with a main focus on sprinting. The training takes place all year round and consists of intensive sprint sessions, strength training and flexibility several times a week. It places high demands on the body – both in terms of load, recovery and continuity.
QWave's products for red and near-infrared light therapy (PBM) have become an important part of my daily routine. By using the QWave pads before a workout, I find that my body feels more clear and responsive, which improves the quality of my workout. After hard workouts, the treatment helps me recover faster, so I can face the next session with energy and steady progress.
In addition to the QWave pads, I use the QWave torch for more targeted treatment. It is particularly effective for point pain and areas that need deeper treatment than the pads provide. The torch also has blue light with antibacterial effect, which can be useful for small skin irritations or wounds – which is an extra safety feature in a high-stress training routine. At the same time, it is compact and easy to take with you to training, meetings and competitions.
For me, top-level sports are all about the details. Proper recovery is just as important as the training itself. When the body is given optimal conditions to recover, I can train harder, train smarter, and be better prepared for competition.
This is an investment in performance – every single day.
